A post medieval silver half penny of Charles 1st. A rose is depicted on both the obverse and reverse. No legend. Two small holes have been punctured very probably for the coin to be used as a necklace. As a general rule, pierced coins post dating AD 1180 are not considered to be classified as potential Treasure under the Treasure Act 1996, as they remained in circulation post piercing.
