The right hand side is composed of cortex. The ventral surface is concave and is smooth with the exception of a bulb of percussion at the distal end. A complete flint parallel sided scraper of Neolithic date (3500-2100 BC). The lithic is elliptical profile and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface smooth with steeply retouch edges along the proximal, left and right hand sides, the proximal edge has been abruptly blunted. The ventral surface with the exception of minimal flaking to the right hand edge is smooth. The flint is a dark grey with black and cream inclusion throughout. An incomplete, cast lead weight of probable medieval to post medieval date, 1200-1800 AD. The weight tapers inward and is blunted, at the proximal end but is broadly cuneate in profile. There is an incised lanceolate shape, cast into the main body of the weight either side of a central ridge both on the dorsal and ventral surfaces. The front of the mount is convex and decorated with concentric circular patterns, including the outermost ridge there is a three step pattern up towards the centre of the object with a single incised circle around a protruding orbicular pellet which has been centrally perforated. The reverse of the head is concave to accommodate the spring mechanism which is comprised of an internal chord with seven turns of the spring. The pin no longer remains. An incomplete cast copper alloy Trumpet derivative brooch of Roman date. The head of the brooch is semi-circular with short, worn knops projecting from each corner. A third knop at the top of the curved edge marks the remains of the attachment loop which no longer survives. A D-shaped sectioned bow extends out from the head at a 90 degree angle before turn sharply downwards again at 90 degrees. An incomplete cast copper alloy plate brooch of Roman date. The brooch is ovate in plan with a raised central oval setting for paste or a glass gem which no longer remain. The rim around the central oval is decorated with a series of sinuate line and gilding. The pin lug with roughly half of the coils for the pin and a worn catchplate remain on the reverse of the brooch at opposing points on the longitudinal axis. The pin proper no longer remains. The metal has a mid brownish-green colour and is worn. The brooch is 26mm long, 17.7mm wide, 8.3mm thick and weighs 4.2g. Similar example…
