Broad period: POST MEDIEVAL

Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
Copper alloy dress hook (probably). Cast sub-rectangular loop and openwork plate, both of a form similar to that of an early post-medieval hooked tag. The plate comprises a central pentagonal boss with dished centre and with a pair of pellets at its junction with the loop, flanked by two angled arms. There is no hook and no clear sign of a break to mark its loss, so this may be a contemporary object in similar style but serving a different function.
