An incomplete copper alloy hooked mount that is probably Post-Medieval in date. The mount is flat with a horizontal oval body with the remains of a broken backward curving hook at one end. At the opposite end is an extended neck, a wide collar and then a circular loop in the same plane as the plate. The hole in the centre of the terminal may have held a rivet, which is now missing. A cast copper alloy mini terret dating from the Late Iron Age to Early Roman period (300 BC - 100 AD). The terret has a D-shaped loop with a short straight bar and expanded terminals at each end of it. The hoop is oval in section and flares towards the terminals. These project in all directions and are lipped, with two grooves on the internal rim. The bar is straight and recessed from the inside and outside of the hoop. A flint scraper tool dating from the early Neolithic period (3500 BC-2900 BC). It is sub circular in plan and D shaped in profile and section. The dorsal face has been worked; with abrupt retouch along the distal end and sides. This would have constituted the scraping end of the object; the proximal end is natural. The flint is a dark grey; it has some mottled creamy white patination seen primarily from the ventral side. Please see Edmonds' Stone Tools and Society, page 40, figure 19 for examples. Eight of the sides are equilateral triangles, the other six are rectangular. A fragment of a Roman greyware vessel made of greyish brown coarse ware probably dating from about 300-400 AD. The fragment consists of a pronounced everted rim and part of the vessel wall. The fabric is hard and contains infrequent large quartz inclusions. The external side is somewhat smooth; it is decorated with very shallow circumferential grooves with a lattice work design between them.
