A cast copper alloy knop in the form of a head of uncertain function and date. The knop is tear drop shaped in plan with a moulded face on one side. The eyes are in a wide eliptical shape in similarlly shaped recesses. The moulded nose and mouth are very warn. there is also a moulded ear on either side of the head and the suggestion of hair swept over the head, although this is very also very worn. There are groves on each side of the head as the knop narrows towards the base. On the underside of the head there is a sub rectangular recesse 7.4mm wide and 4.5mm deep.
