A cast copper alloy horse harness pendant of probable fourteenth century date. The shield shaped pendant measures 33mm by 20.9mm by 2.2mm and weighs 5.42g. At the upper end of the shield is a broken suspension loop which is turned through ninety degrees. On the front of the pendant there is an enamelled depiction of a peacock with red beak, feet and wings, three brown plumes behind the head, a blue body and blue tails feathers on which there are three white patches presumably intended to represent 'eyes'. A cast copper alloy ansate brooch of early-medieval date. The brooch measures 37.2mm by 11.2mm by 5.5mm and weighs 7.93g. At each end of the forward projecting central arm there is a circular terminal. Both are decorated with three uneven annulets, the outer two of which adjoin a linear which is parallel to the central arm. This pattern is set within a raised border. The stem measures 157mm in length and 13.8mm in diameter, the socket has a diameter of 21.7mm and a thickness of 2.5mm and the object weighs 119g. The hollow base is circular, 79.4mm in maximum diameter, 21.9mm in height and around 2.5mm in thickness. It weighs 108g. It is slightly wider at its base than at the top (diameter 72.6mm). A broken flint end scraper of probable Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. The fragment is the distal end of a secondary flake and has ripples on the ventral surface. There are three flaking scars on the dorsal surface and the distal end has been retouched. The scraper appears to have broken part way along its length. Four flint waste flakes of probable Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. Three flakes have striking platforms and bulbs of percussion at the proximal end and one has a bulbar scar. Ripples radiate down the ventral surfaces and there are a number of flaking scars on the dorsal surfaces. There is some edge damage but no sign of retouch. The smallest flake is a piece of miscellaneous debitage.
