Copper alloy brooch, Nauheim derivative type. Bow only, missing foot with catchplate; very bent. The metal is very yellow, probably a brass, and little corroded. The flat bow expands to 6.3mm from the single surviving loop of the spring; it has single grooves along the edges and tapers to only 1.4mm wide at the break. Surviving (bent) length 30mm. The standard one piece flat bow type may be pre- or post- conquest.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, Trumpet type, probably Collingwood type Riv. Upper half only, missing spring etc; corroded. The trumpet head has no surviving decoration and a large lug behind for the spring. The mid-bow mouldings are probably the acanthus leaf type, but very abraded. Width 14.5mm, surviving length 26mm.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, probably a Colchester derivative type with double pierced lug. Lower bow and catchplate only. The bow is a flat D-section, tapering very slightly, with a single transverse groove at the foot. The catchplate has two holes leaving a stepped bar across the middle and has a pin groove. Surviving length 29mm. Similar to Scole (Mackreth in Rogerson 1977, EAA 5, 130) no 4 which is suggested to be pre 55 AD.

Copper alloy brooch, Colchester derivative / Polden Hill variant type. Missing pin, corroded areas. The eight turn spring is held by a rear hook on the chord, plus the axis bar is enclosed by 9mm of the wings folded around at each end. The wings have a deep 2mm wide circular setting at each end, now empty, with three vertical grooves and one angled in the gap up to the bow junction. The bow has a angled top at the wing junction, and parallel grooves form the top of the lozenge-shaped outline around another deep circular setting (2.5mm across), again empty. Copper alloy brooch, Colchester derivative type with rear hook spring attachment. Missing spring. pin; damaged rear hook, wings, catchplate; very corroded and abraded bow front. The back of the wings has ?solder traces at the right hand end. The wing terminals have a concave moulding and grooves. The tapering bow has a slightly convex back and rises at the front to a central decorated band, almost completely destroyed. Width 23mm, length 43mm.
