Part of a pewter trapezoidal buckle with a copper alloy pin. The narrow side of the frame has a triangular protrusion with a grooved pin rest and curved protrusions at either side. An incised line runs across the pin rest. There is a lobed protrusion at either end of the bar.

A two part lead cloth bale seal. One side has a privy mark of the weaver, clothier or the searcher.
Geoff Egan writes "The complicated mark can be restored in its entirety from parallels (e.g. Egan in London Archaeologist 3.7 1978, 178 fig. 2) as comprising at least six, perhaps ten letters (noted in alphabetical order as it is not possible to single out a definite surname initial) ACDRST, and perhaps EHIL could also be present.
