An incomplete, Medieval-Early Post Medieval, cast, copper alloy with high tin content, cooking receptacle or vessel rim fragment with sides that flare slightly outwards. The inner surface is very smooth and almost polished whereas the outer has a linear grainy appearance with a few patches of black lacquer. The fragment has a grey patina and there are four 4-5mm holes drilled through the body part so this could have been used as a strainer. This rim fragment is likely to date to 1200-1600. Ref. Narrow, waisted buckle attachment plate with distorted fragment of a once oval buckle frame. An incomplete, Post Medieval, cast, copper alloy, good sized, rumbler bell. Broken lower two thirds of a rumbler bell with sunburst moulded decoration probably on the lower half only. The founder's mark is of a divided cross pattee or possible forge hammer within a semi-circle. The bell is in rather worn condition with green patina but some surface corrosion. The bell measures 26.86mm long, 36.07mm wide, 34.11mm thick, diameter 36.07mm and weighs 23.4g.
