A piece of window glass of Post-Medieval date. The piece is broadly a parallelogram in plan with a narrow rectangular section. The surface of the glass is degraded in a manner similar to that seen on plant ash glasses of the medieval to post-medieval periods, likely caused by general weathering. Finds Advisor Kevin Leahy states that the regular edges appear diamond cut rather than crozed as would be typical of earlier pieces. There are also no signs of fire rounding present. From here the tail widens to the body of the fish before terminating at a circumferential band. One terminal is cast in the design of an exotic bird while the other has been lost to an old break. The object is possibly a hawking whistle. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is worn. An incomplete cast lead whistle of modern date. The whistle is a hollow cone with open apex and a sub-triangular section removed to act as the sound hole. A casting seem is present along the two sides of the whistle and it is moulded with a design consisting of two ovate elements, giving the appearance of eyes.
