A complete cast copper alloy plain harness fitting / terret ring of Late Iron Age to Early Roman dating (100 BC to 100 AD). The terret ring is sub oval (D shaped) in plan with an irregular sub-oval (D shaped) cross section. The attachment bar is oval in cross section and flanked by two circular mouldings. Each of these moulding has a central circumferential groove separating the mouldings into two parts. There is no evidence for other cast decorative motifs or enameled or applied decoration. An incomplete cast copper alloy (probably bronze) socketed spear (spear head) of Middle to Late Bronze Age dating (1500 to 800 BC). The spearhead fragment consists of the upper part of the spear, being broken at the top of the socket. The edges of the blade are lost. The spearhead fragment is broadly sub-triangular in plan and profile with a distinct bi-convex shaped cross section. A incomplete cast copper alloy annular buckle (or possible annular 'ring' brooch) of medieval date (1200-1400). The buckle is circular in plan with a circular cross section. There is no evidence for a constriction within the frame of the buckle to which a pin would fit. Instead the pin is attached by a large loop which moves freely around the frame. A complete cast copper alloy book clasp, of probable Medieval dating (12th to 15th Centuries AD). The book clasp consists of a sub rectangular sheet of copper alloy metal, bent back on itself, with ornate cut edges. The front exhibits a central domed area, with the remnants of two iron rivets on the left hand side. A series of V shaped notches have been cut along the edges to create a decorative edge. A complete cast copper alloy swaging block, of modern date (c.1890 to 1930 AD). It is semi-circular in plan and consists of a cast of the upper jaw (maxilla) from an adult. The teeth present are (from right to left): PM2, PM1, I2, I1, C, PM1, PM2, M1. This means that the denture would have false teeth for the right canine, and left lateral & central incisors. A complete, but bent gold posy finger ring of Late Post Medieval dating to the17th Century No trace of enamel is surviving on the exterior, which has been decorated on the exterior with double hearts flanked by love birds with foliage and flowers, including a pansy for 'thoughts'. The object would have been enamelled, tiny traces remain.
