Cast copper alloy brooch with a quatrefoil frame with external knops at each of the three apexes of the arcs. The fourth edge is recessed to hold the sheet copper alloy pin which is rectangular in section and tapers to a point where it touches one of the knop terminals at the opposite end. Each of the four sides of the frame curve inwards and then outwards to form the rounded arc which attaches to each knop. The brooch has a deep green patina all over the surface and is in good condition. Hattatt (2000) illustrates a similar small kite-shaped brooch with knops at each apex on page …

Incomplete cast copper alloy double-loop asymmetrical buckle with a narrowed recessed strap bar that still holds a cast copper alloy double tongue. There are engraved transverse lines on the upper surface of the frame and traces of black lacquer over this decoration and also on the tongue. The outer edge of the extant loop is expanded to a lip which would have provided a pin rest. The other loop is missing but would have been rectangular in plan with the two outer edges at right angles. Whitehead (1996) illustrates a very similar example on page 91, no.568, which is dated from c.15…

A Late Iron Age or Roman (c.300 BC - AD 410) blue glass bead with white detail meandering across the external surface in gently recurving irregular loops. This bead is circular in shape with flattened, althoough not parallel to each other, upper and lower edges. It has a D-shaped cross section formed by convex outer edges and straight vertical edges to the perforation through the approximate centre of the bead. A Late Bronze Age/Earliest Iron Age complete cast copper alloy socketed axehead of South-Eastern (LBA) or Sompting (EIA) type, of the Ewart Park/Llyn Fawr metalworking tradition. The axehead is wedge-shaped with a square socket at the haft end. Internally the socket tapers and narrows from the mouth to the cutting edge. Externally the axehead expands gently along the body before a very slightly wider flare to the curved but now damaged cutting edge. A worn two-part lead alloy cloth seal of early post-medieval date. One of the seal elements depicts a king enthroned, holding a spear and sceptre with the Arms of England visible on his tabbard. The letter H can be seen between the king's legs. On the opposite side of this is a crown surmounting the Arms of England, but any legend has now worn away. Similar cloth seals have been attributed to Henry VIII (AD 1508-1553), and comparisons are illustrated in the Salisbury Museum Medieval Catalogue volume 3 (Saunders et al. 1991:63 no 107).

A fragment from a copper alloy ramrod holder, also called an end-piece or tail-pipe of post-medieval date, c. 17th to mid 18th century. The fragment consists of part of the circular tube and has a cut-away projection with narrow point at one end, being the skirt of the ramrod pipe. There are several similar objects on the PAS database, such as SUR-5F0664, KENT-0CC102, DENO-ED8501 and SF7423. They would have been used together with a second or even third tube to hold the ramrod of a gun (e.g. a musket or pistol) when it was not in use.

A complete copper alloy single looped D-shaped buckle of medieval date. The buckle is small and has no decoration about the frame although the upper edges are bevelled. Fragment of silver Roman finger ring. The rear and one side of the oval to D-sectioned hoop is missing, expanding smoothly from the breaks through the shoulders before small notches on either side defining the edge of the oval bezel.
