Incomplete cast copper alloy barrel tap missing its tap key, which would have slotted into the square socket or trunnion around the rectangular pin inside. The key would have originally turned in the trunnion to allow the liquid to flow through an opening to the spout. The key opened and closed a valve, and below the socket the projecting housing in which the valve turned was adjustable by a slotted screw head. Post Medieval (c. 1500 to c. 1650) buckle frame: The copper alloy buckle frame is a double-loop which is sub-oval. The strap bar is narrowed and trapezoidal in cross-section. At each terminal of the strap bar the frame has a trapezoidal moulding. The loops are at their widest at the apex and on the interior edge of the apex the frame is convex. The frame has traces of a mid green patina with traces of a white metal coating. The reverse of the frame is flat and is obliquely angled frame. The pin is missing. Post Medieval (mid 17th century) powder flask cap: The lead cap is cylindrical with a sealed terminal, which has then been squashed. In plan the upper cap is sub-oval with a pellet in the centre and the lower edge of the walls is an irregular shape due to it being squashed. On the upper edge of the cap, above the casting seam, there is an integral loop on either side, one of which is incomplete. The surface of the cap is a smooth off-white colour. A fragment of post-Medieval cast copper-alloy shoe buckle frame (1700-1800). The fragment is part of one side of the frame. It has decorative mouldings on the front face and is plain and flat on the rear face. Around the outside of the frame are four small lobes each with a central circular indentation. The mouldings at the front, commencing from the narrower end, consist of two annulets with circular indentations and two pyramidal motifs.
