A complete cast copper-alloy bead of Unknown date, possibly Roman to post-Medieval (AD 43-1900).
This bead is biconical in form and each end is flattened. It has a central longitudinal perforation with parallel sides and measures c. 6.0mm in diameter.
The bead is corroded and drab green with patches of a dark green patina.
Length: 19.9mm; diameter at centre: 17.8mm. Weight: 14.19g.

This bead is light and mid-green with small patches of a darker green patina.

A flint lithic implement, a multi-functional tool of probably Mesolithic date (about 9000 BC - 4000 BC). The multi-function tool is formed on mottled dark grey flint which is semi-translucent and not patinated. It is pointed with a rounded proximal end in plan and D shaped in section. The tool is tertiary with fine, low-angle retouch shaping it, particularly at the point and proximal left side. A flint possible burin probably dating from the Mesolithic period (about 9000 BC - 4000 BC). The scraper is formed on mottled light yellow grey flint which is semi-translucent and has a few areas of slight patination. It is sub-rectangular with the burin formed on the distal right corner. A flint scraper of unknown date, Mesolithic to Neolithic (about 9000 BC - 2200BC). The scraper is formed on a yellow grey flint which is opaque, but not patinated. It is sub-triangular; the distal end is a hinged termination and the scraping edge is formed on the right side and proximal end. It is sub-trapezoidal in section. The flake is secondary with long, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch forming the scraping edge. Some cortex survives at the distal right side. It is 22.55mm long, 35.7mm wide and 8.8mm thick. 6.75g.

A flint incomplete scraper, perhaps a damage rounded scraper of unknown date, probably Neolithic (about 4000 BC - 2200BC). The scraper is formed on a mottled light grey flint which is opaque, but not patinated. It is sub-oval with the distal end convex but dammage to the proximal end has left it pointed. It is trapezoidal in section. The flake is tertiary with long, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch round the distal end and sides. It is 27mm long, 34.1mm wide and 10.43mm thick. 9.3g.

1. Sherd from a vessel with a base of about 110mm base diameter and sides sloping at about 45 degrees. About 25% of the base survives. 44mm tall, 77.7mm wide and 14.9mm thick at base of wall. 10mm thick in centre of base. There are marks on the underside caused by cutting the pot off the wheel with a wire. Over 100g.

Four rim sherds of Roman ceramic vessels; grayware fabric. The fabric is hard and fine to irregular, light grey throughout and has frequent, usually well sorted, angular quartz and some mica inclusions.
1. A large sherd from a rounded bowl. It has an everted and downward sloping rim and convex side. It is decorated with a circumferential ridge immediately under the rim, and three circumferential grooves on the shoulder, one single line above a pair. About 15% of the rim survives, and it would have had a diameter of about 280mm. 93.5mm tall, 135.3mm wide and 9.65mm thick.

A cast copper alloy clapper bell dating from the Roman period. . It is conical in shape with a circular base and straight sides, measuring 32.46mm tall. At the top is a suspension loop which is slightly bent, pointed-oval in shape and with a circular hole. Below the base of the loop is a raised area, which at one point has a deep groove running around it.
