Incomplete cast copper alloy hinged T-shaped type brooch with applied plate. The long wings are too corroded and pitted to detect decoration . The copper alloy spindle survives within the tubular wings and the copper alloy hinge in the centre at the back of the head of the brooch, but the pin, catchplate and foot are missing. The head and what remains of the bow have a mounted moulded strip which tapers with the bow and is riveted on at the head and where the break now is, though a circular hole in the mounted strip and a cylindrical hole through the bow. The short wings are decorated with incised curvilinear pairs of lines, with knurled interiors, which encircle the head of the brooch like a collar and obliquely transverse each wing to link to a concentric ring just in from each terminal. Cast rectangular shoe buckle with expanded ends each with a groove and a drilled frame for a separate spindle.The frame appears to be made from pewter while the buckle plate is a copper alloy, also there is a makers stamp on the underside of the buckle plate which reads REARLY there is also a stamp above this that I cannot read due to wear.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy late Early Medieval stirrup terminal of Anglo-Scandinavian attribution (c. 11th century AD). Remains of the terminal consist of the majority of the zoomorphic head. The zoomorphic terminal shows an oval eye on either side of the long head that finishes in a snout. Running from the 'neck' to eyes and continuing after the eyes to the snout are six vertical grooves to the eye and four along the snout, leaving out the two central grooves which terminate in the brow of the animal between its eyes. Medieval (12th to 14th century) buckle plate: The buckle plate is incomplete and what remains is a rectangular copper alloy sheet with abraded edges. One terminal has a rivet hole in each corner, the opposite edge has an incomplete slot along the edge. The decoration is in the form of a probable dog in profile, which has been stamped, thereby the reverse is hollow. The animal is possibly a lion, but no tail is visible to confirm this. A cast copper alloy Seal Matrix, dating to between AD 1250 and AD 1350. In plan, the seal matrix is of a pointed oval (vesica) shape. The reverse has an integral raised rib running centrally down the rear which also forms a suspension loop at the top.
