A complete, disc-shaped, cast lead-alloy weight of Medieval to Post Medieval date (c.AD1200-1700), probably a trade weight. The weight is sub-circular in plan view. The back of the weight is flat. The front of the weight has a raised cross mounded in relief with arms meeting at the centre. There is a stamped 'O' in one quarter. Two of the other quarters appear to have been hollowed after casting. The circumference of the weight has a shallow rim. The sides of the weight are straight but with a rough, uneven surface. Cast copper alloy two part buckle of post medieval date 1660-1720 AD. The buckle frame is sub-rectangular with rounded corners in plan and oval in cross section. The frame is drilled at the mid point to take an iron or copper alloy spindle (not surviving). At the mid point on each short edge of the frame are V shaped recessed pin rests. 2 medieval lead pendent weights, both lentoid, triangular-sectioned with thick flange bordering outside edge and all four longitudinal arrises flanked by multiple oblique ribs and suspension-loop at apex for suspension. Both, length 76mm, width 23mm, thickness 18mm. Weighing 113.09g and 112.70g. Weights of this type were perhaps used as sinkers for nets. See Egan (1998), 310-11, fig.231. 14th-15th century.

Lead ampulla length 49mm, width 33mm, thickness 10mm, weight 33.26g. The flaks chamber is circular, with a short rectangular neck above. The base of the neck is flanked by two small handles, only the base of the right side on remains. One side of the chamber is decorated with a scallop shell. The other side is decorated single vertical line that has a trapezoid shape at the top on the right side, this could be a single headed axe, or a banner with a flag at the top. Halfway up the shaft is a reversed S halfway up the pole.

Copper alloy book clasp, length 38mm, width 15mm, thickness 4mm, weight 2.22g. This example has a lozenge mid section with rectangular tabs at either end. There is a rectangular hook on the forward edge and a trapezoid tab on the rear. Single rivet hole at the rear.
Artefacts such as this have been discovered during excavation in York which dated to the 15th and 16th centuries (Ottaway & Rogers, 2002, 2937-2939)

The fragmentary head of a cast copper alloy Colchester Derivative two-piece bow brooch - most probably a Polden Hill type brooch of Roman date (AD 75-175). The fragment consists of only the head; the bow wings, spring and pin are all lost. In plan the fragment is oval - in section it is D shaped. Two small scars are present on either side of the bow head - where the winds extended. At the centre of the reverse is a sub-rectangular hollow. A fragment of a Roman finger ring. The ring has a circular bezel with cells which form a cross with a circular centre and expanding arms. There is also a circle in each angle. The cells were probably infilled with enamel but no trace survives. One shoulder fragment survives and this has transverse ribbing. The rest of the hoop is missing.

Copper alloy sword or dagger pommel. This is a long rectangular pommel that has an oval cross section (23mm by 18mm) with a hollow interior and a rounded top. The aperture at the base is round with an internal diameter of 15mm. At the top is a round hole (7mm in diameter) which is encrusted in iron corrosion, this is where the tag passed through the top of the pommel.
