A cast copper alloy finger Roman ring. The bezel is a horizontal oval, with an oval cell in the centre. This cell has traces of an orange glassy substance, probably enamel. The undecorated shoulders taper towards the loop, of which only a small portion remains. The breaks of the loop are not too recent. The loop has a D shaped section. The surface of the ring has an mid grey/green patina. It measures 5.98mm long from the upper edge to the lower edge of the bezel, and it is 16.57mm wide from each apex of the shoulders/loops. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill type (flat wing ends type, West Midlands). The wings are semi-cylindrical terminating with a perforated wing cap, both of which are incomplete. The axis bar, spring and pin are all missing. The wings are undecorated.
