An incomplete cast cooper alloy hooked tag of post-medieval date. The hooked tag is of Reads Class E, Type 5 being trefoil in plan. The main plate is an openwork trefoil knot design with a D-shaped section and an integrally cast rectangular attachment loop. Two small sub-circular details, possibly representing roses, mark the join between the attachment loop and main plate. The bottom loop of the knot and the hook has been lost to worn breaks and the reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a mid greenish-brown patina and is worn. A complete cast copper alloy hooked tag of post-medieval date. The hooked tag is of Reads Class E, Type 5 being trefoil in plan. The main plate is an openwork trefoil knot design with a D-shaped section and an integrally cast rectangular attachment loop. The running ends of the knot terminate in tassels at the junction with the loop and a D-sectioned hook extends from opposite the loop. The reverse of the object is flat and undecorated. A complete cast copper alloy hooked tag of post-medieval date. The hooked tag is of Reads Class E, Type 7 being heart shape in plan. The main plate is decorated with a moulded relief linear heart the bifurcated end of which has an inward pointing trefoil. A circular perforation is present to either side of the heart. A trapezoidal attachment loop projects from the upper edge of the main plate and the hook extends from the opposite edge curving sharply backwards. The main plate is convex with moulded relief decoration consisting of a five petalled double rose devise. A 16th century silver-gilt hooked tag. The tag comprises three domed elements attached to a triangular back plate with frilled edges. I rivet through the back plate secures a further circular frilled element to the upper surface. also secured to the back plate is a hook, part of which is missing. also missing is the three-sided attachment bar the securing points for which are visible.
