A post-Medieval 17th century cast copper alloy mount with two integral lugs on the reverse. The mount is sub-triangular in plan. There is floriate and curvilinear decoration and possibly a front facing head at the top. It is dark black-green in colour, with traces of a black lacquer. It is 24mm long, 8.5mm wide, 2.2mm thick and weighs 1.72g. It could be a belt mount or horse furniture. Mounts with similar shape and decoration can be seen in Read. 2001. Fig. 20, Pg.35. A similar object can be found on the database: ESS-56C795.

A incomplete cast copper-alloy medieval one piece hooked tag. The tag is convex with moulded relief. It has a solid-domed boss bearing a classical-style human facing-mask within two concentric circles , the inner linear and the outer pellets, and a cabled border. The hook is missing. The loop is trapazoidal in shape. Cf. Read. 2008. Class E, Type 3, No. 323. This style of hooked tag has been found in contexts dating from 1500 to 1625 AD.

A cast copper alloy lozenge-shaped plate brooch, dating to the Roman period. The brooch is incomplete, having suffered damage around the upper edges of the plate; the brooch has several circular cells arranged around two larger central cells; the lower cells retain some of their blue and red / orange enamelling. The reverse retains the small copper loop for the pin hinge; there is iron corrosion around this area possibly suggesting an iron pin; the catch plate is mostly missing. A very small copper alloy medieval belt or strap fitting with hanging decoration. The copper strap is formed of a single rectangular sheet bent over on itself and secure to the strap by two copper alloy rivets, both extant. The loop of the strap bar holds a small trefoil openwork mount. Although a very small example, this mount is probably of a similar date and function, being a strap mount or fitting dating from the 13th - 15th Century AD.
