An incomplete cast copper alloy strap end of medieval date. The strap end is composite with a forked spacer, though the fork no longer remains. The main plate of the strap end is circular with a central circular perforation through which the remains of the back plate can be seen. The resulting frame is decorated with a double circumferential border around both the inner and outer edges and short curved double incised lines, similar to quotation marks, projecting from the two medial lines. A modern gold finger-ring, squashed and with a breaking bend at the back of the hoop. It is in rather scuffed condition. It measures 28.41mm in diameter (internal 25.16mm) and 9.22mm in max.width, at the bezel. It weighs 8.07g. The hoop is rectangular in cross-section, measuring 3.65x1.11mm at the back of the hoop. A Medieval cast copper alloy thimble. The thimble is squashed, cracked and incomplete. The rim reveals the thimble is made with a single shell. The exterior of the rim is decorated with a single linear groove above which there are rows of conical shaped indentions which also cover the apex of the thimble. Three crudely cast, conical lead weights, probably of Medieval date. Each weight has a flat base, a rounded apex and a circular perforation running through the body of the weight from top to bottom. Their measurements are respectively: diameter 20.4mm, height 25.8mm and weight 62.79gm; diameter 19.5mm, height 25.6mm and weight 57.96gm; diameter 21.6mm, height 24.8mm and weight 57.28gm. Each weighs about 2oz, but one is 2.2oz. Compare NLM-FFF027.

A discoidal flint scraper dating from the late Neolithic or early Bronze Age, 3000 BC - 1500 BC. It is made of a dark-coloured flint that is frequently found in North Yorkshire and may have been imported to the find location. The edges have been retouched, but they are also damaged with crushing and chipping. It is 38.2mm long, 34.6mm wide and 12.9mm thick. It weighs19.79gm. Similar scrapers are illustrated in Butler, 2005, Prehistoric Flintwork, page 166, figure 70.

They were made by rolling strips or scraps of sheet lead around a cylindrical former. Most of them are intact but one or two are bent or have begun to unroll. A piece of sheet lead alloy, probably waste from metal working. The dating of this item is uncertain, but it may have been associated with the production of net weights, also found in this area. It is 65.8mm long, 40.1mm wide and 10.3mm thick. It weighs 59.34gm. The metal is patinated to a yellow colour, and one edge is folded inwards. This waste item was stored with an assemblage of thirty two net weights recorded on the database at reference SWYOR-F980C7. Additional items of waste were also reported from the same location and are recorded at reference SWYOR-FA91B1.

A water worn stone pebble which was recovered because it is not the usually occurring geology in this area. It is a light grey-brown in colour with some dark inclusions and a few flecks of quartz. It is probably a type of granite. It is rounded to a triangular shape. It does not appear to be related to any manufacturing process but is recorded in case it is an exotic feature which has been brought to the site by human activity.

An incomplete, post medieval, cast copper alloy jaws (or jew's) harp, dating from 1500-1800 AD. It consists of a head, circular in plan and two straight, tapering arms, all of which are lozenge-shaped in section. One side of the head has a faceted rabbet for attachment of the ferrous tongue. A complete cast Roman copper alloy dumbell toggle, in the shape. The two small balls on each end of the toggle are separated by two sharp raised collars and a narrow 'waist' in the middle. The object is in good condition, with a solid green patina covering the surface and only very minimal powdery deterioration. It probably dates from the Roman period, based on the period of usage for the dumbell sytle of toggles. It measures 23.65 in length, 10.25 in width and weighs 10.41 grams. Compare to SWYOR-7C6B07.
