A silver short cross cut quarter (farthing), dating from the period AD 1180-1247. The fragment is worn as well as small, making full identification difficult; the letters TE may be visible on the reverse, and this may relate to the mint, possibly Canterbury.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy penannular brooch of Roman date. Half of the brooch including one terminal survives intact, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. The frame is undecorated, circular in section and tapers to an old break on the opposite side of the brooch to the terminal. The terminal itself is flattened and rolls backwards upon itself to produce a curved or spiralled terminal, its precise form uncertain due to corrosion. Fragment of a cast copper alloy buckle, all that survives is the outside edge of the frame, this is expanded to form a rectangular panel with a central pin notch. In London buckles of this form occur in contexts dating from 1230-1350 (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, Fig. 44).

A medieval hammered silver penny of Edward III. The obverse has a forward facing bust with the legend: EDWARDVS [---]. The reverse has a long cross with three pellets in each angle and a quatrefoil in the centre with the legend: CIVITAS [EBO]RACI.
The coin was minted at the York episcopal mint and appears to be of Edward III's pre-treaty fourth coinage (1351-61).

The token has raised indeterminate designs (not letters) on both sides.
Diameter: 14.7mm. Weight: 8.75g.
Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely.

A cast copper alloy elaborate quatrefoil heraldic harness pendant. The central square is obscured now but probably depicted a lion rampant within a blue field. There is a fleur-de-lys in each lobe, each against a red field. The suspension loop is at a 90 degree angle with the stud.
