Rim sherd of a Roman glass vessel dating from c200 AD to c450 AD. The glass has been blown rather than being strip glass which probably makes it Late Roman. The Roman town of Viriconium is not far away and it is most probable that there was a link between the find site and the town. It measures 24mm in length, 19mm in thickness, 5mm in thickness and weighs 2grms.
