An incomplete copper-alloy nail cleaner with moulded neck and shouldered blade of Roman date (AD 43-200). This nail cleaner is a Crummy type 2a. The blade is of a pointed leaf shape, tapering gently from rounded shoulders where it terminates in an old break. There is a central groove incised into both sides of the nail cleaner. There is a circular suspension loop, set at right angles to the blade and separated from it by a baluster moulding. The metal is a dark brownish green. An incomplete copper alloy belt mount of Medieval date (AD 1350-1450). The mount in circular centrally and spatulate to the head and foot of the mount. The circular central portion contains linear decorations running laterally and each of the two spatulate portions has a single pellet decoration. The back of the mount is smooth and undecorated with the exception of a single integral pin protruding from the proximal spatulate projection, the pin is broken from an old break.
