Medieval cast lead shield shaped weight. The weight has a raised central section on the front within a thinner border. On the central section is a worn lion rampant while around the border is a row of indented dots. A larger dot at the centre of the top may have been intended as the start of a suspension hole, which is incomplete. The back is plain. It is 34.6mm long, 25.2mm wide and 11.6mm thick, it weighs 54.34 grams, 1.913 ounces.

An iron Early Medieval weaving baton or sword beater probably dating from the 9th century. It is a long tapering iron blade with a socketed end. The baton has been bent near the socket, but is otherwise in good condition.
The socket is U shaped in section and has a rivet hole near the handle end. The socket tapers from the handle end towards the blade. At its widest, the socket is 30.55mm across, and 18.2mm thick from front to back. The top of the blade is 28.9mm wide and 9.3mm thick. A fragment from the lower end of a medieval, cast copper alloy, plain pot leg, dating from AD1400-1600. The fragment is flat on the inner surface and the outer side is faceted with a central vertical ridge. It is slightly flared at the foot. Some traces of soot remain on both inner and outer sides. The fragment is 42.6mm long, 27.6mm wide and 16mm thick. It weighs 57.14gm.

The vessel appears to have been vertical-sided, the everted rim proecting at 90 degrees, with two grooved lid seats in its upper surface. The fabric is light grey, sand-tempered and has soot patches on the outer surfaces. The edges are reasonably unabraded.

A rim sherd from a ceramic vessel, possibly of Iron Age date.
The profile indicates that this is probably a steep-sided jar or cooking pot, the everted rim angling upwards and having an upward curve at the end. The vessel is roughly finished, probably handmade and has soot patches on the outside. The fabric is pinkish-yellow and finely tempered, with a smooth surface. The edges are abraded.

A Post Medieval lead alloy (tin) "American plantations token" minted under James II for use in the American plantations, dating c. 1688. This token was valued at one 24th of Spanish real, or one and a half farthings.
The obverse of the coin shows James II on horseback with the legend IACOBVS II D G MAG BRI FRAN ET HIB REX. The reverse shows four crowned shields of England, Scotland, France and Ireland linked by chains and the legend VAL 24 PART REAL HISPAN.

A gilt copper-alloy strap fitting of probable Medieval date.
The artefact has been formed by folding widthways a parallel-sided strip of copper-alloy with a sub-circular end. The underside of this circular end has been secured to the opposite end by means of a circular-sectioned rivet. The remaining traces of gilding on the heavily corroded object are confined to the upper surface.

One half of a Medieval copper-alloy swivel.
The object consists of a roughly D-shaped frame, the diameter of which gradually increases towards the base, where two moulded zoomorphic heads flank a central block. This block is oval in plan and has a circular-sectioned projection at the centre of its flat underside.

A copper alloy strap end of medieval date, AD1250-1400. It consists of a pair of joined, flat sheets of copper alloy, tapering slightly to a rounded end with a central, pointed terminal. The attachment ends of the sheets are in the shape of a shallow crescent. There are two ferrous fastening rivets, one at each end of the attachment edge; both rivets remain in place. There is no decoration. The strap end displays a light green patina. It is 35.6mm long, 22.8mm wide and 3.1mm thick. It weighs 7.56gm.

It consists of a pair of strips of copper alloy, rounded at one end, where they are joined together and where there are also the remains of a third sheet spacer. The attachment ends of both sheets have broken away and are missing. The leaf-shaped blade is damaged and incomplete. The conical central socket tapers towards the top, where the point is missing. Patches of a dark grey surface survive between the areas of corrosion.
