A cast lead or lead alloy token which is sub-circular in plan and uniface. The design is a 'W'. It measures 22.86mm diameter, 2.61mm thick and weighs 7.7g. Lead tokens such as this date to the post-medieval period, 1600-1850 AD. The token is pictured with WAW-EF2307 from the same site.

A cast copper alloy strap end. In plan the strap end is an elongated sub-oval. The strap end has decoration on the upper plate which has an abraded animal head terminal. Behind the head there is a single panel depicting an elongated triple stranded 'X' shape formed by to crescents back-to-back. These are linear and ribbed. In the fields around this 'X' shape there are further small blocks. In profile the strap end appears to be solid at the zoomorphic terminal, but then does divide into two plates, forming a slim 'Y' profile. This divided terminal is abraded, and there are the remains…

A cast copper alloy harness fitting of probable medieval to post medieval date. It consists of a 13mm scallop decorated strap fitting connected to a 12mm offset loop by an 11mm semi-circular sectioned bar. The bar has two decorative raised collars at the junction with the strap fitting end. The reverse is both plain and flat. Probably a bit-link to attach the reins to the cheek piece.

A medieval dress-fitting in the form of a raised circular mount with a cabled border within a serrated edge. At the centre is engraved a representation of St Peter holding a large key against a gilded hatched background. The figure of St Peter appears black, possibly due to the oxidisation of the silver. A fitting is soldered to the reverse in the shape of an elongated S. The dress-fitting is silver-gilt and dates from the late fifteenth or early sixteenth century. A Roman cast copper alloy bow brooch of Langton Down type, cAD25-60. The brooch has a hinged pin retained within a cylindrical housing and attached to a short iron bar. Along the centre of the spine are three notched ridges which extend almost to the top of the catchplate. The foot is out-turned and D-shaped. The pin is missing.

A Roman cast copper alloy circular plate brooch. The brooch has a diameter of c22.26mm although the extreme edges are mostly missing. The centre of the disc is slightly hollowed and the rounded rim is slightly raised. In the centre is a circular patch which may be the stub of a separate fitting; there is a corresponding circle on the back. The brooch has been cast in a high tin content alloy and has a white metal coating, probably tin. The intact pin is in a different alloy.

A cast copper-alloy terminal from a post-Medieval 'seal-top' or baluster spoon dating from the late 16th to 17th century. The terminal has a flat undecorated circular top, a bulbous collar, a small collar, a baluster and then another collar before the shank of the handle. The shank is bent and mostly missing. It was oval in section. The break is old. The spoon terminal has a dark green patina. Compare SWYOR-314081 and IOW-B110C8.

A Post-medieval copper-alloy bracelet or bangle of a form that was popular among the rural working classes of the 18th century. These bracelets are either plain or, like this example, decorated with a simple groove. This one has a groove decorated with small circular punch marks along the centre of the outer face. Very much like copper bracelets today, this 18th century version was worn in the belief that it would prevent or help relieve illnesses, in this case the 'ague', a type of fever that was rife at the time.
