A fragment of a late Medieval to early Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy purse frame, circa AD1450 - AD1550. The piece is partly bent, and is "V" shaped in cross-section at one end where it was broken in antiquity, and tapers to a point at the other. There is surface decoration of a single chevron of double lines adjacent to the break. A single hole 2.1mm in diameter in the edge of the frame, would have helped attach it to the purse fabric by sewing. A fragment of a late Medieval to early Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy purse frame, circa AD1450 - AD1550. The fragment represents a curved piece of the frame which tapers towards its end, and then ends with a rectangular terminal. Along most of its length, the fragment is "D" shaped in cross-section. There is a single hole 3.4mm in diameter, which would have aided the attachment of the frame to the fabric of the purse by sewing. A fragment of a glass vessel of post-medieval date. The fragment is sub-rectangular and very thick producing a dark blackish-green colour. Due to the relatively small portion of glass now remaining it is not possible to determine the exact nature of the vessel from which it originated. The glass fragment is 60.8mm long, 31.3mm wide, 8.4mm thick and weighs 28.2g.
