Lead weight. Cast sub-rectangular weight. The upper surface bears a probably moulded lipped edge, and a number of small round punch-marks of diameter 1mm are scattered randomly across it. The border has subsequently been enhanced by a thin inscribed line, which continues as an un-ruled X extending corner to corner. Patinated overall. The mass suggests this may be a Roman weight representing eight drachmae (3.41gm) or one uncia (27.3gm), though the Roman system continued in use into Anglo-Saxon times. A lead weight probably dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). The object is circular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. The front of the object is decorated with three concentric rings in the centre of which is a stamped with -(dash) P, possibly representing the weight which is 0lb and 7.75oz or 219.8g. The back of the object is undecorated. The object has a light whitish brown patina and has several nicks and scratches. On the front of the objects are four punched dots. The edge of the object is decorated with two concentric grooves. On the rear of the object is a single central punched dot. The object has a dark green patina.

A complete cast copper alloy cup weight of medieval date. The weight is circular in plan with sides which taper from the top to the base giving a sub-trapezoidal profile. Around the top of the rim are a total of 20 punched ring and dot motifs and the rest of the object is undecorated. The metal has a dark greenish-black patina and is worn. The cup weight is 24.5mm in diameter, 9.1mm tall, 3.1mm thick and weighs 14.1g.
