Obverse: EDWARDVS REX ANGLI Z FRANC (annulet stops); Crowned bust facing within a tressure of nine arches Reverse: Outer: +POS/VI DEV/ADIVT/ORE M (I have made God my helper) (annulet stops)/Inner: CIVI/TAS/LON/DON; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant Diameter: 22.60mm. Weight: 2.09g. DA=12:4.

An incomplete Modern lead-alloy toy gun (c. 1850-c. 1920 AD). The stock survives and is sub-triangular in plan, pointed-oval in cross-section and has an open-ended butt. Both sides are similarly decorated with raised scrolling flowers and 'cross-hatching'. Toy guns were popular from the late 17th century and this example probably dates c. 1850-c. 1920. This object is largely coated with a buff patina. There is a break at the larger end. 35.29 x 16.42 x 8.72mm. Weight: 12.06g. Obverse: Illegible Reverse: CIVI/TAS/EBO/RACI (annulet before CIVI; annulet before EBO); Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant, quatrefoil at centre of cross Diameter: 15.15mm. Weight: 0.76g. The coin was bent through 180° when found.
