A copper-alloy escutcheon from a late Roman or Anglo-Saxon hanging bowl. The hook is sub-rectangular in cross-section and arches to a break. The other end of the hook is flattens where it joins the back-plate, and tapers to the break below to form a wedge-shaped moulding. A small moulded transverse notch is located at the base of the arch, and a series of incised lines decorate the wedge-shaped moulding. These lines appear to contain a white-coloured paste. An incomplete Medieval single-looped buckle frame (c. 1250-c. 1500 AD). The frame is sub-oval in plan, convex at the front and flat at the rear. On the front, the outer edge is slightly widened and has a central pin-rest in the form of a shallow notch. The bar is rectangular in cross-section. Postmedieval coin of William III (1694 -1702). The coin is a contemporary copy of a sixpence. The core of the coin appears to be non-silver (probably copper alloy), and a silver wash has been applied to the surface. Weight 2.56g. Diameter 20mm. The first two date numerals are visible, '16', so the coin must therefore date between 1694 and 1699.

The pinhead is polyhedral, with ring and dot decoration in the four side panels. The shaft has a circular cross-section, and terminates in a worn break. The metal has a dark greenish-brown patina and is worn. The pin is 10mm long, 6.4mm wide, 4.9mm thick and weighs 1.3g.

A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy composite three-piece button (c. 1600-c. 1700 AD). This sheet button consists of a pair of hollow die stamped hemispheres soldered together. There is a small perforation, or blow hole, either side of the separately attached round, drawn wire loop/shank. The head is plain and the joining 'rib' is quite prominent. Height: 15.36mm; diameter: 11.48mm. Weight: 1.39g. Similar buttons have been illustrated and published (Read 2005: 85), which are described as Stuart in date.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Aesica brooch of Roman date. The brooch consists of semi-circular wings which are concave on the reverse to accommodate the pin mechanism which no longer remains. The bow extends from the centre of the front of the wings and is trapezoidal in plan with a raised profile to curve outwards. The bow terminates in a worn break. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The brooch is 20.5mm long, 19.8mm wide, 2.8mm thick and weighs 4.7g. Similar examples are illustrated in Hattatt p.310, fig.169 and are dated to the 1st century AD.

The tip of the pin has been lost to an old worn break. No recess for the pin is present. The metal has a dark greenish-brown patina and is worn. The buckle is 38.6mm in diameter, 3.9mm thick and weighs 8.7g. An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy buckle plate and pin (c. 1270-c. 1350 AD). The plate is sub-rectangular in plan and the loop is missing. At the loop end it is straight and has a circular pin hole, 4.36mm in diameter. Close to this hole there is another smaller hole. At the opposite end, the sides of the plate taper and then expand to form a fan-shaped projection. At the centre of the narrowest part at this end there are the remains of a copper-alloy rivet.
