A copper alloy Medieval seal matrix. The matrix is a pyramid type, which has a circular base. The reverse of the matrix has a hexagonal sectioned stem which terminates with a trefoil loop and a collar below the loop. On the lower edge there is a '+' which indicates the start of the legend on the underside. The underside of the matrix has a legend and central device with a line dividing the two. A complete cast copper alloy stamped domed thimble, c. 1350-1450 AD. The thimble was fashioned from a copper alloy sheet and hand punched with holes which spiral from the top; there is a circular 'tonsure' at the top of thimble's dome from this process. A small plain band is visible at the base. The thimble has been crushed slightly, possibly due to damage during deposition. The thimble measures 14.44 mm high, with a base measuring 17.29 mm by 13.61 mm, 0.70 mm thick sheet and weighs 1.94 grams.

A copper-alloy uniface coin weight of Late Medieval date.
The weight is sub-circular, the raised design depicting a king standing on a ship and holding a shield. The weight (3.16g) and the presence of a rose, located at the centre of the hull, indicate that this is for a half ryal, a coin issued between 1464 and 1470.
Dimensions: 14.9mm diameter, 2.3mm thick.

A fragment of unidentified object of uncertain date, measuring 14.30x13.05x2.50mm and weighing 1.79g.
The object is openwork and square in shape, with a U-shaped inward projection on two opposing sides, creating an openwork-H at the centre. To one of the other edges is a broken stump, 3.74x2.50mm.
The fragment is just possibly from a Late Early-Medieval (900-1100) copper alloy slide key for use with a padlock, of type C variant, consisting of the bit and small stump of stem only, but not enough survives to give a more certain identification.

An incomplete copper-alloy harness pendant of Medieval date.
The pendant is circular, the upper surface bearing a raised shield with the following blazon: gules three lions passant guardant Or (three lions facing left, on a red background, the raised areas gilt). The flat border surrounding the shield also retains traces of gilding and is decorated with a wavy line, a single pellet located within the underside of each curve. A damaged area at the top of the pendant represents the point from which the loop would have sprung. The reverse of the corroded piece is flat and plain.

A cast copper-alloy seal matix of probable later Medieval date. It has a large circular die with hexagonally faceted conical terminal that tapers towards an integral suspension loop. The suspension loop is lozenge shaped in form with notches to the upper edges giving it a trifoliate form, pierced at its centre by a circular aperture. An incomplete cast copper alloy Post Medieval buckle, c. 1600-1720 AD. The frame is a double loop sub-oval buckle with rounded ends and inward projecting knops at the outer edges. A light V-shaped incised decoration is visible at either end of the narrowed strap bar and a single incised line at the outer edges. The reverse face is flat and undecorated. The pin is missing. The frame measures 31.99 mm long, 17.98 mm wide at the strap bar, 2.25 mm thick and weighs 2.94 grams. Cf. Whitehead 2003, p71.

An incomplete Late Roman (AD 300-400) tinned copper alloy spoon, consisting of the handle and most of the 'C' shaped joint between the handle and the missing offset bowl. The handle is bent. It measures 51.64mm in (bent) length (unbent c.60mm) and weighs 5.78g.
The 'C' shaped joint is 11.01mm wide and 3.20mm thick.
The handle is rectangular in cross-section behind the 'C' shaped joint (4.82x3.36mm ) and has been twisted to form a rope effect, narrowing to a worn circular-section point at the other end, 1.71mm in diameter.
