18C Incomplete cast copper alloy child's toy cannon with perforation for touch hole for gunpowder, two side trunnions for mounting on to a carriage, and a 4 mm bore hole. It is 50mm in length and measures 16mm across the trunnions.

A complete post-Medieval cast lead cock-shy (c. 1700-c. 1800 AD). This object is cast in one piece and is in the form of a cockerel on a flat sub-circular base. The cockerel is bent over at an angle of about 90° from the base. One side of the cockerel is moulded and has a prominent comb, beak and eye with linear lines representing a wing or feathers. The other side is flat and plain. The upper face of the base has moulded cross-hatching and the underside is coarse and plain.
