A complete post-Medieval cast lead cock-shy (c. 1700-c. 1800 AD). This object is cast in one piece and is in the form of a cockerel on a flat sub-circular base. The cockerel is bent over at an angle of about 90° from the base. One side of the cockerel is moulded and has a prominent comb, beak and eye with linear lines representing a wing or feathers. The other side is flat and plain. The upper face of the base has moulded cross-hatching and the underside is coarse and plain. A complete post-Medieval cast lead cock-shy (c. 1700-c. 1800 AD). This object is cast in one piece and is in the form of a cockerel on a flat sub-circular base. A post-Medieval cast copper-alloy buckle chape and pin (c. 1720-1770 AD). In plan, the chape frame is sub-oval and has a single internal spike. It has two hollow lugs that accommodate an iron spindle. Between the lugs a copper-alloy pin is secured by the spindle. The pin is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. It has no patina and is a dull brown colour. Overall length: 53.17mm. Length of frame: 30.83mm; width of frame: 42.36mm; thickness of frame: 4.97mm; length of pin: 28.86mm. Weight: 12.96g. A fragment of a Medieval cast-copper-alloy posnet handle (c. 1250-c. 1400 AD). This fragment is largely flat on the top and convex on the underside, roughly 'D'-shaped in cross-section. Moulded decoration on the top consists of four oblique grooves within two parallel grooves, one at either side. A stub on the underside is the remains of a curved reinforcing brace that joined the body of the vessel.
