A complete early medieval strap end belonging to Thomas' Class A1 and of 9th century date. The strap end is decorated in the Trewhiddle style and has a panel which contains an animal with interlace which emerges from the animal's mouth. The worn terminal is thickened and in the form of an animal head with flattened ears.

Two arms of a probable cross-shaped fitting or mount of uncertain but probable post medieval date. Both surviving arms have expanding trifid terminals. At the junction of the two surviving arms is a circular aperture. The surfaces are poorly preserved and no decoration is visible.

An incomplete cast copper alloy pin of Early-Medieval date. The head of the pin is all that remains which is sub-circular in plan and section. Four flattened circular facets are present spaced irregularly around the circumference of the pinhead. The bas of the pinhead is worn with traces of possible solder.
The metal has a dark blackish-brown patina and is coated in a powdery white substance. The pinhead is 7.9mm tall, 8.1mm in diameter and weighs 3.4g.

Medieval cast copper alloy buckle frame and plate, missing the pin. The frame is broadly 'D' shaped in plan, with a wide frame widening around the outer edge and a straight, thinned, strap bar. It is broadly D-shaped in section with a flat back and slightly convex front. It appears plain although the surface is corroded and may have previously been decorated.

An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy rowel spur (c. 1600-c. 1800 AD).
Parts of the sides and the rowel box are missing. The rowel is also missing.
Each side is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat on the inner faces. The maximum depth of the sides near the rowel box (the crest) is 15.53mm. It has a neck in the form of a large collar. The two elements of the rowel box are 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat on their inner faces. One element of the box has an old abraded break and the other element has a fresh break.

Description: A gold biconical bead from a necklace, made from a single coiled length of plain unbeaded wire. Both ends of the wire appear original; one is neatly tapered and the other has a blunter end. The coils are soldered together, but there does not appear to be an internal backplate to which the wire is soldered, as there are occasional cracks through which the solid soil infilling can be seen.
The bead is slightly flattened lengthways and there is an indentation on one side.
Dimensions: It measures 12mm in length and 5mm at its widest, and weighs 1.9g.

A Medieval (1200-1400) copper alloy bar mount from a belt with central and terminal lobes, measuring 16.51x9.71x4.54mm and weighing 1.23g.
The two terminal lobes are solid (c.2mm thick), each with a separate copper alloy rivet (in situ). The central lobe is hollow to the reverse and domed to the front, with a band of decoration c.6.6mm wide. The decoration comprises four horizontal grooves with numerous vertical incised lines crossing, to give a pattern of tiny squares.

Part of one arm of a small trefoil brooch. The herringbone motif within a frame is "geometric ornament based on an acanthus design" (Kershaw 2009, 314-5, fig. 9). An incomplete cast lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. Roughly one third of the spindle whorl remains, which is bi-conical with half of the central perforation visible. One side is decorated with a series of irregularly spaced pellets organised around the edge of the perforation. The other side is very worn with no discernable decorative elements.
The metal is a mid whitish-brown colour and is very worn. The spindle whorl is 23.6mm long, 17.2mm wide, 9.5mm thick and weighs 12.3g.
