A probable Medieval lead alloy token dating from the 13th to 15th century AD. The token is bifacial and appears to depict a bird on either face in quite good detail. The token as a distinctive silvery appearance which suggest pewter, a material used for tokens mainly in the medieval period, and possibly related to the church in some way (See Fletcher 2005:22). The bird appears to have it's head down feeding. The reverse of the token is not visible as the token has been folded in half.
