An incomplete medieval casket key from a probable 13th-15th century date. The key is fashioned from copper alloy sheet rolled into a ovoid pipe tube cross section. It has a butt jointed and lead soldered seam. The bow was produced by splitting the tube longditudinally and folding back the sections to form two reflexed loops of uneven length. The bit is missing with a twisted break probably as result of snapping in a lock. The surface has an even dark green patina.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy handle from a barrel tap of modern date, pelta shaped and attached to the remainder of the object by the central section which has broken off due to an old break. The inside edges of the loops and the outside edge of the main curve are bevelled from a central ridge, possibly the remains of smoothed casting seams. The inside edges are densely covered in fine, transverse filemarks. A fragmentary cast copper-alloy element, possibly a foot, from a cooking vessel of later medieval to post-medieval date. The element would seem to have an abraded pad and flat back. The front has a central longitudinal mid rib. It has a sub-trapezoidal cross-section and is comparable to a foot illustrated in Butler et al. (2009, 6; ref. 4a). The object has a dark-green colour with patches of a black coating, and other areas of corrosion product.

A fragment of a copper-alloy crotal bell dating to the Post-medieval period. Only a fragment of one of the hemispheres survive, the fragment is semi-circular in plan and slightly concave. The bell is decorated with an incised border with OWO inscribed within.
The fragment is 24.1mm in length, 15.85mm in width, 2.0mm thick and weighs 3.5 grams.

A cast copper alloy rotary key. The handle/bow is a oval in plan. The stem protrudes from the mid point of the vertical edge of the bow. The stem has a moulded collar. The stem, after the collar, is narrowed and solid. The bit is an off-set vertical rectangle in plan.
In length, from the handle to the terminal of the stem it is 37.1mm, and the widest point is the handle which is 12.9mm wide. The thickness of the stem is 3.25mm. It weighs 4.3g.

An incomplete copper alloy book clasp of Post-medieval date comprising two plates and three rivets. The clasp is decorated with engraved zigzag lines and feather patterns and a single ring with a central hole. Towards the expanding terminal are three circular perforations arranged in a line with two copper alloy rivets above. The back plate is attached through a circular rivets. Material survives between the two plates.
The fitting is 54.0mm in length, 27.65mm in width, 4.8mm thick and weighs 8.3 grams.

An complete cast copper alloy buckle of medieval date. The object is a single looped sub oval buckle with an expanded outer frame. The outer frame has two expanded knops on either end. The pin bar is narrowed with two knops on either end, the pin survives.
The buckle is 14.35mm long, 16.75mm wide, 2.25mm thick and weighs 1.4g.

A fairly worn copper-alloy hammered half penny trader's token of the 17th century, dating from 1666. The token is of Thomas Hackett of Worcester and bears on its reverse three pears, one of the arms of Worcester.
Obverse: 1666 THOMAS HACKETT OF (arms of Worcester, three pears in shield, in inner circle).
Reverse: WORCESTER HIS HALF PEN[SE?] H over T and M in inner circle.

A cast copper-alloy single looped D-shaped buckle dating form the medieval period. The buckle has a projecting lip which is notched as a pin rest, and an offset and recessed bar. The pin survives. The buckle has a mid green patina.
The buckle is 27.35mm in length, 38.5mm wide and weighs 5.1 grams.

Perhaps a copper alloy mining token or 'Truck' from the late 18th to early 19th century AD. The diameter is 38mm.
The earliest mining related tokens known from the British Isles are those circulated by a handful of colliery owners and coal carriers operating in the mid seventeenth century. Such tokens are recorded from various locations within the traditional coalfield areas of Yorkshire, Lancashire, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Cumberland, and Derbyshire.

A copper-alloy book fitting; a strap-end of the medieval period. It consists of two plates riveted together, one of which has a die-formed, domed end with a small drilled hole at the front. The strap-end is square at the attachment end, rounded at the free end and waisted at the centre. It has two rivet holes, one of which retains a copper-alloy rivet. The free end probably terminated in a hook, or possibly a loop ('eye'), but this is now missing.
The strap end as smooth green patina and measures 28.83mm x 18.73 and weighs 4.7 grams.

A complete copper-alloy domed thimble probably Post-medieval in date. The small, circular indentations have been hand stamped in a spiral, leaving a small bare patch or "tonsure" at the top. The walls are quite thick. This is similar in shape to an example in FRG Datasheet 9, page 1, Fig. 2 a. The tonsure and spiral indentations suggest a date of tthe 16th to mid 17th centuries.
The thimble is 14.1mm in height, 13.5mm in diameter and weighs 5.2 grams.

A worn and corroded, circular double-sided copper-alloy coin weight of post-medieval date. The weight is for a double crown (11 shillings) of James I, 2nd coinage, revalued (1604-1619 AD; Withers & Withers 1995, 13). At 72.5 grains this coin weight has lost around 6% of its original mass (77 grains, ibid. 13).
