An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is a double looped asymmetrical shape with a separately cast double tongue. The buckle is decorated with three incised lines to either end of the narrowed strap bar. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal is a dark blackish-brown colour and is worn. The buckle is 19.5mm long, 20.1mm wide, 1.9mm thick and weighs 2.6g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.91, no.568 and is dated to circa 1575 - 1700.

An incomplete silver Book Fitting probably from the Post Medieval period. At one end is a sub circular loop, 7.6 mm in diameter, which is opened at the end proabaly due to wear. Below the loop the body comprises a square section (14 mm long) that has a molded oval protrusion in the. A complete lead powder measure cap of post-medieval date. The cap is cylindrical with straight sides and a circular base and is open at one end. Where the sides meet the base there are two attachment loops which are now bent upwards against the body of the cap. The sides have been pinched inwards. The metal is a light greyish-white colour and is worn. The cap is 15.1mm tall, 24mm in diameter, the walls are 1.8mm thick and weighs 14.6g. An incomplete cast copper-alloy pin of Roman date. It is mising the lower half of the shaft due to old breaks. The pin has a globular head that is circular in form and oval shaped in section. From the centre of the underside of the head extends the integrally cast cylindrical shaft that has three circumferential grooves where the head and shaft meet, producing two transverse cordons. A cast lead alloy pilgrim badge. The bage is circular in plan, with some damage creating a hole at one edge. The reverse has a central casting scar and the pin is missing, leaving only a circular scar. The morif on the front appears to be a male in ermine and hands clasped in front. The male fgure appears to be headless, although this meya be a result of wear and damage. The border of the badge is decorated with a pearled edge. If truly headless, then the badge may have originated from a Canterbury Pilgrimage, representing Thomas Beckett.

C. 35% of the surface has a fossil or mineral deposit from the flint nodule from which the core was made. The core is angular and has been worked from two sides with wide flake removals leaving a central ridge or keel. It measures 26.1mm long, 30.3mm wide, 20.8mm thick and weighs 19.76g. It dates from the Neolithic, 4000-2500 BC.
