A silver long-cross penny, minted at London. The broken dexter spearhead of the crown suggests that this is a Class 11a coin (North 1060-1062) of Edward II, minted between 1311 and 1312. The surfaces are worn in places. It measures 19mm in diameter, 0.4mm thick and weighs 1.3g.

A worn silver penny probably of Henry VI, probably 'Annulet issue', mint of York, struck 1413-1422. The coin is very worn but a feint annulet can be seen by the hair on the left; the right side is illegible. There also appears to be an extra pellet in one quarter on the reverse. The coin is pierced just above the top left of the crown.
