A short , thin ,twisted flake of mottled light grey, brown and grey smooth chert. The striking platform has been abraded before striking off a pebble cortex platform. The right margin has a blunt notch; possibly for a finger hold and the distal margin is obliquely truncated and finished abruptly. The straight left margin is sharp and finely retouched and has likely been used as a knife. Mercer(1981) illustrates a similar tool on page 143, fig 63, L199.

A thick fragment of opaque cream and light grey flint. It may be from a smashed core and does not have defined dorsal and ventral surfaces or a striking platform. The sharp 'distal' oblique straight edge has been semi-abruptly retouched from both sides of the margin. Adjacent to this; the lateral margin has been abruptly flaked, perhaps to blunt it for a finger guide when using the tool as a cutting flake. Butler(2005) illustrates an edged flake on page 186, fig 76, 10.
