A cast lead/tin alloy Post-Medieval mount, probably for a bridle. It is a floriate shape, with moulded decoration, having twelve petals round a circular centre of six smaller petals. It measures 32.36mm in diameter and weighs 10.49g. There are two integral rivets on the reverse, one blunt-hooked, and one pointed and extended.

A large lead alloy harness boss dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). The object is circular in plan, thick and flat. The object has foliate relief decoration surrounding a central roundel.Most of the outer edge of the object is missing. The remains of one iron rivet can be seen on the reverse of the object. The object has a dark grey patina. It is likely to dates from the eighteenth century.
Similar examples which can be found on the database are SF6788 and SWYOR-937753. Similar examples can be seen in Bailey's "Detector Finds" (1999).

Cast lead spindle whorl probably dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1500). The object is circular in plan and conical. It has a large central circular perforation. The upper face of the object is decorated with seven large sub-circular pellets. The lower face of the object is undecorated. The object has a light brown patina and is in good condition.
Similar examples of spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typically dated broadly to the Medieval period c.1066-1500.

Cast lead alloy possible gun-powder measure. It is rectangular in plan. The internal base of the object is rounded while the exterior base is flat. The corners of the object are slightly rounded. The object has been crudely made and has a whitish grey patina.

Cast lead weight from the Medieval to the Post-Medieval period. The object is semi-circular in plan with a semi-circular knop projecting from one end. An iron core can be see projecting from each end of the object. The weight is undecorated and has a light white patina.
Lead weights are common throughout the Medieval and Post-Medieval period and are therefore difficult to date more precisely.
