A Medeival copper alloy buckle dating from 1350-1450 AD. The buckle frame is oval in plan with a lipped notch on one side creating a recess in which the pin sits. The pin bar is narrow and off set. The pin is still in place, made from a single peice of wire bent around the pin bar. Similar examples can be seen in Egan 1991, page 70 figure 279. The buckle is 18.7mm long, 17.1mm wide, 3.7mm thick and weighs 2.92 grams.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester type brooch of Roman date. The head of the brooch consists of the wings extending 4.3mm either side of the bow with concaved reverse. Above these is an upward turning worn hook which would have held the spring in place. No part of the spring or pin remains. The bow is narrow with a 'D' shaped cross section, 6.8mm wide at widest and tapers slightly towards a rounded foot. The solid undecorated catch plate remains intact. A cast copper-alloy fragment probably from the handle of a medieval vessel, most likely a skillet. The fragment is a narrow trapezoid in plan and rectangular in cross section. The front face of the object is decorated with moulded annulet with two concentric grooves surrounding it. Below this are three transverse linear grooves. An incomplete cast iron Roman finger ring, dating from the 1st-2nd centuries. This is a Henig II-III/Guiraud type 2 ring. Only half of the bezel remains, as well as a small portion of the hoop; both breaks are old. The hoop tapers from the bezel and is D shape in section. The bezel has a flat oval setting for a decorative material. The ring is corroded and incomplete but in otherwise fair condition. It measures 11.10 mm L x 15.60 mm W x 3.43 mm TH (at shoulder) x 9.75 mm H and weighs 3.72 g.

Iron Age La Tene I type brooch dating to the 4th to 3rd centuries BC. The brooch is complete, comprising of a sprung head also forming the pin, a curved bow and foot with catchplate. The brooch has been cast as one piece. When viewed from the back, the head is formed from the top of the bow, which becomes thinner and circular in section forming a thick wire. Cast lead weight from the Medieval to the Post-Medieval period. The object is semi-circular in plan with a semi-circular knop projecting from one end. An iron core can be see projecting from each end of the object. The weight is undecorated and has a light white patina. Lead weights are common throughout the Medieval and Post-Medieval period and are therefore difficult to date more precisely.

An incomplete late Bronze Age cast copper alloy socketed axe. The blade end and part of the rectangular socket survive with the remainder having been lost to an old break. The axe has a triangular profile and the blade itself expands slightly beyond the sides of the axe to create a crescent shape. There are the remains of casting seams on the outside edges. There is evidence of some corrosion and the fragment has a dark patina. The blade fragment measures 39.83mm x 37.11mm with the socket measuring 27.33mm in length and 18.63mm wide. It weighs 67.51g.

An incomplete Early Medieval silver strap-end of Thomas (2003) Class A type 1 (Trewhiddle style). The strap end has a deeply split end shaped at the top around two circular rivet holes, with a small third lobe between; the third lobe has three engraved lines forming a small rectangle below. A complete late Bronze Axe socketed axe measuring 98.42mm in length and weighing 193g. The axe is in reasonable condition although the blade is damaged and appears to be laminating. There is also much surface iron staining and patches of the surface are missing in a number of places. There are surface scratches on one side only. The socket at the rim measures 30.72mm x 28.17mm. The frame is square in cross-section with rounded corners. It is seemingly complete and without any key features of those objects it is reminiscent of - medieval key handles, medieval brooches. An incomplete rotary key of plausibly Roman or early-medieval date. It is of unusual construction having a copper-alloy cast bit, stem and lower handle, and a bow of iron that has largely corroded away. The stem has an oval cross-section and tapers slightly from the bow to the tip where it is hollow. A Medieval to Late Post-Medieval (1200-1800) copper alloy foot from a cooking vessel, broken just above the ankle and missing one corner of the toes. It measures 44.38x31.42mm on the underside and stands 46.38mm high. It weighs 123.04g.
