A bent copper-alloy buckle plate, dating from the Medieval or post-Medieval periods.
The plate is rectangular in plan and has two projecting tabs at the frame end, which would originally have extended into the now-missing back plate. The upper surface of the plate bears an incised shield, aligned longitudinally, its point at the non-frame end. The shield has two outer borders and is emblazoned with a single incised saltire. A fragment of the base of a Roman wheel-thrown Oxfordshire White Ware Mortaria, produced in the Oxford region from the second to fourth centuries AD. The fabric is hard with a fine texture and an off-white / cream colour. There are abundant trituration grits consisting of variously coloured rounded quartz stones. It is highly likely that this sherd was produced at the Horspath Kilns recorded in the same field as the findspot of this sherd, and which were producing ceramics from the mid-third to mid-forth century AD.

The worn and corroded coin has two piercings, located at three and four o'clock, respectively, to the obverse. Dimensions: 22mm diameter, 1.5mm thick. Weight: 2.83g. This coin has been noted for Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.

An incomplete Roman cast copper-alloy Dolphin brooch with hinged pin dating to c. AD 55-100. The head and most of the bow remain, the pin and foot are missing.
The brooch head has hollow cylindrical wings, both have old breaks. One wing is broken vertically close to the bow and the other is broken diagonally across the origional end. The front of the wings have vertical incised lines of decoration. Cast copper alloy Roman furniture fitting diameter 18mm, thickness 9mm, weight 5.97g. The object is a solid cast conical-shaped knob. The base of the cone (which would be the forward edge) has a dished middle, the border is thick with a double pellet border. The top of the cone is truncated, there is trace of a rectangular socket at the top that is surrounded by iron corrosion, this is that remains of the pin. This type of fitting is known from the 1st to the 4th century.
