A post medieval, cast, lead alloy, token. This crude token is oval in shape, with one end cast short. It is uniface, being decorated with a saltire and a pellet in each field. It is blue-grey in colour.
Its measures 20.9mm long and 15.8mm wide, it weighs 6.1g.
Similar tokens are tentively attributed to the 15th century as simplistic copies of long cross coins in Edward Fletchers Leaden Tokens and Tallies.

Uni-faced cast lead token of probable later medieval or post-medieval date (1300-1800). The token is broadly circular in plan. The upper face of the token is decorated with a cast design which is relatively crude. It consists of a large central knop or boss around which are three concentric raised bands. Four similar pellets are positioned on the middle band at cardinal points (forming a vertical cross).
