Medieval cast copper alloy bar mount. c.1250-1450. Main body is circular with central hole and decorated with vertical banding. One rectangular projection with copper alloy rivet. Opposite end has worn break where another projection with rivet would have been located. Length: 13.24mm, Width: 9.78mm, Thickness: 4.13mm, Weight: 1.04g.

A very worn copper-alloy mount of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. It has a flattened central plate that is circular in form with a central circular aperture. From one end extends a flattened rectangular arm that is now folded over to meet the back face of the object, perhaps deliberately although this may equally be the result of damage whilst in the ground. At the opposite end of the plate is a thickened arm that is triangular in section with flat back and facted front face.
