A medieval Arabic coin: a cut quarter dirham probably dating from the 7th - 9th century. It is 15.9mm long, 12.3mm wide and 0.8mm thick. It weighs 0.6gm. Two other dirhams found in this area are SWYOR-E9AF36, and SWYOR-E98253, so this is probably of a similar date. This coin was found with other objects suggesting an Early Medieval trading site, and so is probably an ancient loss.
