A distorted but complete cast silver button, circular in plan with a down-turned edge. It is decorated with two conjoined hearts with a crown above. On the reverse of the button is a complete circular loop. A direct parallel can be found in the Treasure Annual Report 2004, no. 236. This of the conjoined hearts may have commemorated the marriage of Charles II of England to Catherine of Braganza in 1662.

A 3rd-century silvered copper-alloy Roman radiate of Tacitus, 'PAX AETERNA', Gallic mint (275-276; Reece issue period 14; R.I.C. 34).  This coin has survived well.  It has been pierced for use at a later date at c. 12 o'clock on the obverse and c. 6 o'clock on the reverse.  Such adaption, presumably for jewellery tends to be considered an early-medieval practice although a Roman date cannot be ruled out.
