Two large fragments of a medieval silver coin; a groat of Edward III (1327-77), fourth coinage, pre-treaty period (1351-1361), series G (1356 - 1361), London mint. A third part of the coin, at eight o'clock on the obverse, is missing. It is 28.2mm in diameter and 1.5mm thick. It weighs 3.85gm. Reference: North, Vol. 2, No. 1193 - 1195.
