Silver Coin. Cut farthing of Henry III (1216-1272), possibly Class 5b or 5c, issued 1247-1272. Obverse description: pellets forming ?beard, one hair curl. Obverse inscription: -/SRE/- The form of R suggests Class 5b/5c. Reverse description: Voided long cross, three pellets in quadrant. Reverse inscription: -/N- the N is pellet-barred. Worn on reverse side. Diameter (of full coin – estimated): 18mm, Weight: 0.35gms.

Obverse description: Bust forward, sceptre with III alongside it. Obverse inscription: REX III H Reverse description: Voided long cross, three pellets in each compartment. Diameter: 17.3mm, Weight: 0.63gms. Good condition.
