Cast copper-alloy socketed fragment, probably a side-looped or basal-looped socketed spearhead from the Middle Bronze Age (1500 - 1050 BC). Mass: 12.8g; length: 31.6mm; external diameter (base): 15.3mm. The tapering fragment is complete at the base but broken at the top across the socket and the diametrically opposed and incomplete loops. The fragment has a brown, pitted surface.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy heraldic harness pendant of medieval date. It is flat, shield shaped and with an integrally cast rectangular suspension loop set at right angles to the plane of the pendant and with an incomplete circular terminal loop due to old breaks. The front face of the pendant depicts three lions passant in relief within a narrow raised border, the recessed field surrounding them probably once containing now missing enamelling. Roman copper alloy finger ring, 17mm in diameter, 11mm wide and bezel and 2mm thick. The ring is in fair condition, missing part of its band, and weighs 2.01grams. The bezel is oval in form and rectangular in section and is decorated with four sub triangular cells which once held enamel. It has plain shoulders which taper in width to form the band. Dr Lindsey Smith comments on OXON-B47D97 : Enamelled finger-rings appear to be a product of the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. Cast copper alloy La Tene chape dating to the early Iron Age, (800-300BC). The chape is anchor shaped and consists of a rectangular central section which narrows towards the end. It then expands into two tapering arms which create the anchor shape. These arms terminate in circular bulbous projections. Each of these circular terminals contains a central circular depression. John Creighton writes: Seal Box Lid. Diamond-shaped with a raised 'grid' design. The resultant twenty-five diamond-shaped fields contain a variety of coloured enamels; from viewing photographs, Kate Roe kindly suggests that a yellow colour predominates. Late early Medieval - Medieval cast copper alloy openwork plate probably from a composite buckle plate. The plate is in the form of a lion passant guardant, moulded in deep relief within a rectangular frame. One end of the frame is missing from old breaks, at the other there are circular rivet holes in each corner. A complete cast copper-alloy Roman lion-headed stud for a box or casket. It is circular in plan and pyramidal in form with a hollow back face. The lowest edge of the front face flattens slightly to form a relatively broad border that is decorated with short incised strokes to represent the lion's mane.
