Two shards of Roman samian ware vessels found close together. Both undecorated body shards of the same soft orange fabric with a darker orange/red shiny slipped outer surface. Probably of East Gaulish manufacture, exported to Britain primarily between AD 120-260. 1. Length: 36.45mm, Width: 28.53mm, Thickness: 5.53mm, Weight: 5.4g 2.
