Copper alloy Roman seal box lid from the 2nd-3rd centuries AD. It is lozenge shaped in plan with rounded corners. The hinge is present on the back which would have attached the lid to the box. The hinge is a circular loop cast integrally on the reverse with the remains of wire in the hole. At both ends of the lid there is a circular extension. At the hinge end it is purely decorative, at the opposite end it would have been used to tie the lid down. The front of the lid is decorated with raised circles. Fragment of early, wide Roman copper-alloy bracelet. The object consists of an 18.57mm wide strip of metal, 46.80mm long from the terminal end to the broken off end. The object is decorated on one side with an imprinted horizontal zig-zagging pattern at the terminal end and two sets of double lines running down the length from the terminal. Weight: 6.76g.

The cast, copper alloy mouth from a scabbard of Roman date, probably first to second century 43-200AD. It is decorated with two narrow, transverse grooves just below the opening for the blade; this opening is of a narrow lozenge shape. The small dimensions of the opening suggest that the scabbard may have been for a dagger. Some ferrous corrosion is evident around the opening. The scabbard 59.3mm long, 30mm wide and 14.3mm thick.
